2D Gel Spot-picking and Digestion Robots (posted 09/03/08)
We are pleased to announce the addition of the Genomics Solutions ProPic II 2D gel spot-picking robot and the ProPrep protein digestion robot to complete our high-throughput 2D gel based proteomics workflow. This workflow will be especially powerful in combination with Difference Gel Electrophoresis (DIGE), a 2D gel labeling technique for gel-based protein expression analysis.

GC-MS for Metabolomics (posted 09/03/08)
The Agilent 7890A GC-MS was recently acquired by Dr. Ben Miller in the Department of Health and Exercise Science. The instrument is being housed in the PMF where we can provide expertise and service to maximize the use of this resource to the CSU community. Please contact Corey Broeckling for more details.

Corey and Mam both joined our group in May 2008. Corey is the new Facility Manger and Mam will be the primary contact for all gel-based proteomics and other MALDI-TOF/TOF applications.
