Metabolomics Sample Submission
The Metabolomics extension of the core facility is a program in development. The instrumentation and scope of analytical capabilities have been well received across the CSU community, and as a result, we are consistently operating at maximum capacity. The focus of the Metabolomics program caters to a number of large scale collaborations with a diverse array of on-campus research groups. As a result, we are generally unable to accept walk-in/drop-off analysis of individual samples.
Required Information
Metabolomics Sample Submission Form
We request that, prior to the commencement of a new project, all involved parties (including the PI) meet with facility personnel to discuss the details of the project and determine the best course of action. If this type of discussion occurs after the fact it often results in wasted instrument time and investigator resources. Given the current demand on the instrument we hope to prevent this situation by being involved in the early stages of the experimental design. Once an experimental plan has been established, all samples for analysis must be submitted at an agreed-upon time (based on availability) with proper documentation. This will help us keep the instrument running with maximum efficiency.
Please fill out and submit the above to Matthew Lewis.

Once a date and time for analysis has been discussed agreed upon by PMF staff, we will reserve that time for analysis of your samples. Blank dates will be filled with unreserved work on a first-come-first-served basis.
